Standard 4D3N Lombok Liveaboard Itinerary

Day 1 — Kayangan Departure → Moyo Check Dive

16:00 boarding at Kayangan Harbour after airport transfer from LOP. Welcome briefing, cabin assignment, safety drill. Overnight passage to Moyo Island. Pre-breakfast check dive at Moyo’s coral pinnacle (12m, gentle current, ideal for equipment check).

Day 2 — Saleh Bay Whale Sharks → Satonda

Pre-dawn arrival Saleh Bay. Dedicated 90-minute whale shark interaction (snorkel, shallow scuba 5m max for certified divers). Late morning sail to Satonda Island for surface interval and crater lake hike. Afternoon dive at Satonda’s volcanic walls (25m, exceptional visibility, schooling fusiliers). Night dive optional at anchor.

Day 3 — Sangeang Volcano → Komodo NP Entry

Morning dive at Sangeang’s underwater volcanic vents — black sand, hot water columns, rare critters. Sail to Komodo, two afternoon dives at Batu Bolong (current-driven coral wall, the most photographed reef in Indonesia). Pink Beach surface interval and overnight anchor.

Day 4 — Castle Rock + Manta Point → Labuan Bajo

Dive Certification Requirements

Most Lombok luxury liveaboard dive sites require minimum PADI Advanced Open Water due to currents at Castle Rock, Crystal Rock and Cauldron. Open Water certified divers can complete most reef dives at Batu Bolong, Pink Beach Reef and Manta sites. We accept SSI, NAUI, BSAC equivalent certifications.

Liveaboard vs Day-Boat Diving from Lombok

Day boats from Lombok cannot reach Komodo — the 50nm distance requires overnight passage. Day diving from Lombok is limited to Gili Trawangan reef sites (good for beginners but lacking biodiversity). For serious diving from Lombok, luxury liveaboard is the only viable option.
