The Lombok-to-Komodo route is the only commercial cruise itinerary in Indonesia that includes Saleh Bay whale shark snorkelling, the conical Kenawa Island, Moyo's Amanwana cove, Satonda crater lake and an active view of Sangeang volcano — all before arriving at Komodo National Park.
Departures from Kayangan Harbour (East Lombok) run year-round. Daytime sailing legs are interspersed with snorkelling stops, sunset photography, beach BBQ dinners, and onboard rest. Most guests describe Day 2 — the Saleh Bay whale shark dawn — as the highlight of their trip.

Fly into Lombok International Airport (LOP). We arrange private transfers to Kayangan Harbour (1.5 hours by car). Domestic flights to LOP run multiple times daily from Jakarta, Bali, Surabaya and Singapore.
April to October offers the calmest seas and best visibility. Whale shark sightings in Saleh Bay peak May to September. The marine park is open year-round; November to March can have weather days requiring itinerary flexibility.
The captain has full authority to adjust the itinerary for guest safety. Alternative anchorages and snorkel sites are pre-planned. Refunds for missed days are rare as the route is sheltered for most of the year.
Yes. Most activities have shore options — Kenawa hike, Padar trek, Pink Beach lounge, and Rinca komodo walk all require no swimming. Snorkel sites have lifejackets and crew supervision for swimmers of all levels.
